14 Days Uganda Big 5 Safari with Primates is a winning Uganda Holiday Experience that features the noble giants of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the closest cuisines-the forest chimpanzees in Kibale National Park and the hundreds of Savannah grazers in the Open.

The 14 days will take you on your Uganda safari to explore big game viewing, mountain gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, boat cruises along the Uganda’s waters. Uganda surely commands voice in eco-tourism, among the attractions Uganda boasts are primates, abundant games, bird life and scenic beauty. On 14 days safari we shall take you to explore Uganda’s wildlife and also some of the authentic sites like river Nile, during this two weeks, you will get to see big five, track gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park and chimpanzee expeditions in their natural habitat kibale national park for encounter of life time memories in the wild  but habituated chimps, you will proceed to view games in our  prized Murchison falls national park and queen Elizabeth national park and through the journey you will explore allots of unique geographical features and scenic allure, plus a great deal of diverse cultures.

Day 1: Arrival – 14 Days Uganda Big 5 Safari with Primates

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by your our guide who will greet you and transfer you to your hotel, taking between 15 minutes to 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
Overnight at booked hotel in Entebbe

Day 2: Departure to Murchison Falls National Park

You will have early morning breakfast and meet your guide who will pick you and transfer you to Murchison falls national park the largest park in Uganda and its takes 4-5 hours’ drive by road and have lunch stop in Masindi town after proceed to the park. On arrival you will be taken to visit the top of falls were river Nile forces its way through the rocky gap of 7meters.

You later check in to the booked lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Game Drive in Paara

the game drive give an opportunity to see animals like kobs, heartbest, oribi, duiker, and big cats like lions, hyena, leopard, including a number of birds like hornbills, vultures, woodpeckers, storks and many others.
later go for lunch at Paara safari lodge/Red chili safari camp and relax before the boat cruise at 2:00pm at the magnificent river Nile and crocodiles, African fish eagles, buffalos and many other wildlife can be seen during the boat cruise. Over night at Heritage safari lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive in Paara

Second Game drive searching for missed wildlife on the previous game drive and later cross with a Ferry to go at the top of the water fall. Over night at Kintakink hotel in Hoima.

Day 5: Driver to Kibale Forest park

You will early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to fort portal passing via the Albertine escarpments of the western arm rift valley. Drive through Hoima town of Bunyoro kingdom and the amazing country side of many tea plantations and beautiful homesteads. You will reach in fort portal by afternoon and check in to the booked lodge until dinner and overnight

Day 6: Chimpanzees trekking and transfer to queen Elizabeth national park

Today will have early morning breakfast and transfer at the briefing center of kibale national park in Kanyachu , after your briefing from ranger guides they will lead you to the forest for the primate watching. Afternoon you will go for the Bigodi wetland swamp walk or visit community families to have view on their culture

 

DAY 7: MORNING VISIT TO KYAMBURA GORGE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL

Rise before the sun and drive to Kyambura Gorge for the thrilling chimpanzee trekking, your guided walk takes for about 2-5 hours were you have chances of meeting more primates alongside chimps like red Columbus monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, red tailed monkeys and many more and you should know that chimpanzee tracking permits here a much cheaper than for kibale national park. You will later return to the lodge for lunch

In the afternoon you will be taken for the adventure boat cruise on Kazinga channel that gives you chance to explore more wildlife on water like schools of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants are also seen cooling off their bodies, waterbucks alongside water birds

Day 8: Relaxation Day

Day 9: Departure to Inshasha sector

You will have early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge to go for morning game drive to the southern remote sector of Queen Elizabeth nation park ishasha sector known for its rare tree climbing lions. Your will be likely to meet some wildlife along the way like hippos, hyenas, elephants, leopards, waterbucks and many more.

You will reach by midday and relax at the booked hotel and relax until lunch. Immediately after your lunch you will go for another game drive through Katooke gate to look for tree climbing lions. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Depart to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Buhoma with interesting views along the way like tea plantations, tea factories in Kayoza and then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park checking to the booked hotel for lunch and relax until dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Gorilla trekking

You will have early morning game drive and then meet your drive to transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing by Uganda wildlife rangers guides, immediately your gorilla trek will start which takes about 2-8 hours in the forest looking for the gentle apes, upon meeting them you will be allowed to be with them for 1 hour and return to the lodge for the rest of the day until dinner and overnight

Day 12: Departure to Lake Bunyonyi. Do canoeing in the evening. Over night at Bunyonyi Eco Resort (Kyahugye island)

Day 13: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park. See the impalas, giraffe, zebra and check in at the lodge and relax
Over night at Mihingo lodge.

Day 14: Travel back to Kampala/Entebbe airport
