Uganda’s birding diversity ranks among the top best in Africa, with over 50% of the continents bird population. The Butterflies in Uganda are estimated at 1200 total species with 170 butterflies endemic to Albertine Rift Region. Over 100 mammals are recorded in Uganda including the endangered mountain gorillas. Uganda is home to over half of the remaining populations of Mountain Gorillas in the world.
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport. Early arrival will give you a chance of birding the Botanical Gardens
Day 2: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
Day 3: Entire Day in the Park. Game drive and Boat Cruise
Our targeted mammals of Uganda in this park include: Elands, Impala, Buffalo, Klipspringer, Leopard, hyenas, Topi, Water buck, Bushbuck, bush duiker, baboons, vervet monkeys and black and white colobus monkeys. Birds include; starlings, weavers, warblers, cisticolas, herons, and barberts.
Day 4: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National park.
Day 5: Entire Day in the Park. Nature walk.
Day 6: Gorilla tracking safari.
Day 7: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Game drive and Boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel.
Day 8: Game drive and drive to Kibale Forest.
Day 9: Entire day in the forest. Chimp tracking and nature walk.
Day 10: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 11: Entire day in the Park and Boat ride.
