6 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari is a stunning Holiday Adventure, that features Big Game in the Open serrated plains, and the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a haven for a Uganda Gorilla trekking Safari that never fails to impress. There is lots to feed your eyes as you maneuver through the overlooking hills to the home of these species.

Day 1: Arrival – 6 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by your our guide who will greet you and transfer you to your hotel, taking between 15 minutes to 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

Day 2: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National park

This morning we will depart for Fort Portal and explore the area around the base of Rwenzori mountain. The Kazinga Channel lies in central Queen Elizabeth National Park, its banks fertile with large mammals such as hippo, elephant and buffalo and over 600 bird species, more than any other national park in Uganda.

Day 3: Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel

Game drive in the Kasenyi sector, well-known for its lions that prey on Queen Elizabeth’s large population of Uganda Kob (antelope). and other animals like leopards, bushbuck, warthog, rare giant forest hog.
After your Safari, you will head to Katwe to visit the traditional salt lake that have been supporting 70% livelihood since the 16th century and lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a boat for a water safari on the Kazinga Channel which lakes of Edward and George and over 80 bird species can be identified including African Skimmers, Great White Pelicans, Spoonbill and a number of Bee-eater species. Hippos wallow at the edge of the water, and huge Nile crocodile. Overnight Parkview Safari lodge/ Kasenyi Safari Camp

Day 4: look out for the tree climbing lions

Depart to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with an ‘en route game drive’ passing through Ishasha, the remote, southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park and try to search for the famous tree climbing lions.

After a few hours in the vehicle, you may enjoy an afternoon walk around the village of Buhoma (your home for two nights) and a chance to visit one of the handicraft shops or to meet the Batwa, the ancient forest-dwelling tribe.
Over night at Gorilla Nest Camp/ Buhoma lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking

After an early breakfast you will be driven to the briefing point thereafter you will start tracking at 08.00am. This is a demanding but rewarding experience. You will depart with lunch boxes, drinking water and remember to bring Jungle boots & raincoat with you. This park is covered in dense vegetation and rugged hills which will demand that you are physically fit. The time taken to reach the Gorillas varies according to their movements.

You will experience the thrill of spending time with and observing the gorillas for 1 hour upon encounter, which is an awesome and exciting adventure. After which we return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight at previous hotel

Day 6: Drive back to Kampala and A stop on the Equator

After breakfast, we start our journey back towards Entebbe International Airport, stopping for a picnic lunch and a fun photo opportunity at the Equator.
