This 3-day Uganda Gorilla safari, will take you for Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which covers an area of 321sq km and is among the oldest forests that survived the ice age era with least 25,000 years. You will be able to trek one of the 23 habituated mountain gorilla groups.
Besides the Gorillas, you will also have an opportunity to see other primates such as the red- tailed monkeys, chimpanzees, baboons, black and white colobus monkeys among others. This forest is also home to 120 mammals, 51 reptiles, 310 butterfly species, 27 species of frogs, geckos, chameleons, 163 tree species, 104 fern species, 1000 flowering plants, as well as over 350 species of birds and 23 of these are Albertine rift endemic, while common families are the hornbills and the Turacos!
Gorilla trekking takes around 2 to 8 hours, which is worth it as those into hiking will have a great time climbing up and about the rolling hills, and going through the lush vegetation.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked up by our Guide-Driver from your Hotel after an early morning breakfast at 07:00hrs in Entebbe or Kampala. You will be briefed about the whole safari before you travel to Bwindi Impenetrable which is found in the southwestern part of Uganda. Along the way there is a local drum and craft making community so you will have a visit here. Check in at the Hotel/Lodge for the Overnight.

Day 2: An epic Gorilla Trekking Experience/Batwa Cultural Experience and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Relaxation
After an early breakfast and your packed lunch ready, you will walk slowly to the park headquarters for briefing by the park rangers after which we will head out to track the mystical creatures. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists.
The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla trekking tour group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. Enjoy your packed lunch with these mystical creatures. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long-savored. Return to your lodge.
Freshen up from the long tracking and thereafter check out for the Batwa trail experience, enjoy cultural dances and the local touch which after you will proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day.

Day 3: Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe/Kampala
After your early morning breakfast, you can choose to do Community Walk, Canoe Ride, Boat Ride, Bicycle Ride, Bird Watching, Cray Fishing, or any other activity in Lake Bunyonyi by paying additionally. Post activities, the team will set out on a drive to Kampala. You will be dropped off at the airport or at your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your Guide-Driver.
